Job Description:

Leads analysis and design of major software components.
Analyzes both business requirements and system functionality for compatibility.
Assists with formulation of project scope and objectives to develop or modify complex information systems.
Analyzes and revises complex system logic deficiencies.
Assesses impact of system changes on other integrated systems.
Assists in defining and maintaining project plans.
Provides guidance and training to less experienced analysts.\May be responsible for leading phases of a complex project.
Requires analysis of unrelated facts/data to determine solutions to complex projects.

Must Have Skills:

Demonstrated self discipline and self- direction to work effectively on simultaneous project is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Proven ability to work in a fast paced team environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
Excellent problem determination and resolution skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to complete project tasks/small projects in a timely manner.
5-7 years experience with the following:
One or more IT Processes (system development or systems operations standards, data modeling tools, QA procedures, database design, network design and infrastructure management) and /or,
One or more Programming Languages (fundamental language structures, machine and assembly languages, procedural languages, non-procedural languages, object oriented languages) and/or,
One or More Concepts & Tools (software packages, hardware environment, operating systems, telecommunications environment, database concepts and tools, client-server environment, Intranet and Extranet, software integration, network operating systems, mainframe concepts and tools.


Technolgies: EMC Symmetrix, Clariion and DMX disk arrays, Brocade switches and full-fabric Storage Area Networks
- experience as an Open Systems Server Administrator (Windows and/or Unix) - Working knowledge of at least one of HDS, HP-EVA, Sun/STK, Network Appliance and IBM storage arrays required.
- Knowledge of EMC and Brocade fibre channel switch software technologies - Working knowledge of EMC and/or HDS software solutions (ECC, SRDF, Power Path, HDLM, Shadow Image, etc.) including command line experience with EMC SYMCLI - Familiarity with Veritas backup products and STK tape drive and libraries
- Familiarity with Oracle replication technologies
